Message Description
Engineering Diagnostics Sens_ID=0x04
Data_ID=0x0[A:E]
Float diagnostics primarily for the monitoring of float health.
Buoyancy Pump
Diagnostics
Sens_ID=0x04
Data_ID=0x04
Buoyancy pump monitoring information as float ascends and descends. The first value is usually around 100dbar and indicates the pumping done to target the park depth. Seek periods may follow. From profile pressure to the surface, the float attempts to maintain a constant rate.
GPS Reports Sens_ID=0x00
Data_ID=0x0[0:6]
Position fixes returned by the float. First GPS fix occurs just after surfacing. Second GPS fix occurs just before leaving the surface. An estimate of the Iridium Position is also displayed. NOTE: the 2nd GPS fix is transmitted in the subsequent cycle, thus the most recent cycle will not have reported both positions.
Quad Plot Sens_ID=0x21
Data_ID=0x0[0:2]
Display of profile and trajectory information:
Rise Data and Plot Sens_ID=0x00
Data_ID=0x00
pro_Dir=0x00
Pressure-Time pairs taken periodically as the float measures its profile (from Park to max pressure, to surface) In the left panel, the data pairs are converted to vertical speed. Red dots are from the latest cycle.
Fall Data and Plot Sens_ID=0x00
Data_ID=0x00
pro_Dir=0x01
Pressure-Time pairs taken periodically as the float descends from the surface to its park pressure. A large temporal gap between the last few data points indiate a SEEK period. In the left panel the data pairs are converted to vertical speed. Red dots are from the latest cycle.
Drift Plot Sens_ID=0x21
Data_ID=0x[0:2]
pro_Type=0x03
Pressure, Temperature, and Salinity measurements taken during the drift (park) phase. Red dots are from the latest cycle.
Configuration
Parameters
Sens_ID=0x01
Data_ID=0x02
Often changed configuration parameters are reported by the float . Examples include parking and profile pressure, amongst others.
Core DMQC Plot Graphical Display of Core Delayed Mode Quality Control (DMQC) data
BGC sensor
raw data plots
BGC sensor figures display unedited/unadjusted
data transmitted by the float.
Float Details Text file of float configuration/hardware upon deployment
Parameter Dump Sens_ID=0x01
